Daniel Gigi
Daniel Gigi is a UK based psychotherapist, meditation teacher, and author. He began the practice of meditation at the age of 14, at which point he also began to develop a keen interest in spirituality and mystical traditions. Being born into a traditional Jewish family it was inevitable that his attraction would be to the mystical Jewish tradition, or what is known as kabbalah. Having studied all the major branches of kabbalah, and given his background in meditation, he decided to focus his attention on the meditative branch of the kabbalah known as the ecstatic kabbalah. He has since published the first book on the ecstatic kabbalah which incorporates all elements of the ecstatic kabbalah as a self-contained system of self development (28 Jewelled Crown - A Comprehensive System Jewish Meditation and Mysticism). His other focuses of study, Patanjali yoga, advaita vedanta, and zen buddhism, have further increased his understanding of the mystical path, and given him an appreciation for the ability mystical traditions have to transcend creed and religion.
An alumnus of University College London, where he studied Hebrew and Jewish history, he has worked as a writer for various online publications including ThymesOnline.co.uk and JacktheLad.org, and as a translator. A meditation teacher and psychotherapist by trade he is an advocate for a change in attitude towards mental development so as to give the individual control over their own well being regardless of their situation. This belief has lead him to develop a system of mental training, the Drop of Eden Program, for anyone to use to help them overcome difficulties before they arise.
